We rear Free Range Gloucester Old Spot X pigs and Red Ruby Devon cattle on our North Devon farm near Bideford. Our family has been farming in the same villiage for generations. At Christmas time we rear our own Free Range quality Geese and Turkeys. Our produce is available at Local Farmers Markets, shows or direct from our NEW farm shop, open Wed-Sat 10am-6pm (outside these hours please call first).
Our pigs are reared as traditionally as possible and fed on our home grown corn. Sows farrow in roomy stables & barns with lots of fresh straw (no farrowing crates here!). The young pigs then go out in the grass fields to grow in the sun. They enjoy wallowing in the mud and snuggling up in the arks at night. Our pigs are reared with plenty of freedom as we belive they should be. We chose Gloucester Old Spots because of their top quality, succulent pork and crunchy crackling along with them being hardy and therefore well suited to outdoor living.
Our suculent, tasty and tender Red Ruby Devon beef is bred and reared on the farm and mainly grass fed as recommeded by top chefs to give the best taste and quality.
